Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website of Rajpal, Firah & Vishnu (“we”, “us”, or “the Firm”). By using this website or submitting our consultation form, you agree to these terms.
Effective date: 11 July 2026 · Bahasa Malaysia
1. No Solicitor–Client Relationship; No Legal Advice
The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified advocate and solicitor.
Submitting our online consultation form does not create a solicitor–client relationship. A solicitor–client relationship arises only when we expressly agree to act for you, typically confirmed in writing (such as a client care letter or engagement terms). Until that point, we owe you no duty of confidentiality or privilege in respect of information you submit through the website or form.
Past results, case descriptions, or media coverage referenced on this site do not guarantee future outcomes. Every legal matter depends on its own facts and applicable law.
2. Confidentiality and Sensitive Information
Our consultation form is a convenient way to make initial contact, but it is not a secure channel for highly sensitive or privileged communications. Do not submit detailed particulars of an ongoing police investigation, witness statements, or other confidential material through the form.
Legal professional privilege and formal duties of confidentiality attach only after a solicitor–client relationship is established. If your matter is urgent or sensitive, contact us by telephone instead.
3. Urgent Matters — Criminal Law
If you or someone you know is in police custody, facing an imminent remand hearing, bail application, or other time-critical criminal proceeding, do not rely on the consultation form. Call our office immediately:
- Petaling Jaya: 03-7960 1115
- Batu Caves: 03-6186 8653
If you cannot reach us and the matter is urgent, seek immediate assistance from a duty lawyer, legal aid, or another qualified criminal lawyer. Form submissions are reviewed during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and are not monitored in real time.
4. Accuracy of Information You Provide
You warrant that information you submit through our website or consultation form is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. The Firm is not responsible for delays, misassessments, or other issues arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading submissions.
5. Website Content and Professional Publicity
Content on this website is published in compliance with the Legal Profession (Publicity) Rules. Our publicity is intended to be dignified, accurate, and not misleading. We do not claim guaranteed outcomes, and we do not describe ourselves as “experts” unless justified by qualifications, experience, and success level as permitted under those rules.
References to practice areas, experience, or case types are descriptive of the Firm’s work and do not constitute a promise of a particular result in your matter.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and layout — is owned by or licensed to Rajpal, Firah & Vishnu and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of this website without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial viewing or as permitted by law.
Press clippings and third-party media shown in our Media Room remain the property of their respective publishers. See our image rights log for details.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Rajpal, Firah & Vishnu shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, this website
- Reliance on information published on this website
- Technical errors, interruptions, or downtime of this website or third-party services (including Google Forms, Google Maps, or Google Fonts)
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of data transmitted through the website
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
This website may contain links to third-party websites or embed third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those third parties. Your use of third-party services (including Google Forms for consultation submissions) is subject to their own terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or relating to your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
11. Amendments
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time by posting an updated version on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rajpal, Firah & Vishnu regarding your use of this website. They do not replace any written engagement terms between you and the Firm once a solicitor–client relationship is established.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be directed to rajpal.associates@gmail.com or to either of our offices listed on the Contact page.
